Welcome to M. Silverthorn's online English classroom.
This page has been created to notify students, as well as their parents, of ongoing work in their son/daughter's English class at ESC Algonquin.Parents and students are encouraged to use this website as a reference for homework, daily class work that may be missed, as well as a notice of upcoming tests, projects and evaluations.
Please note that updates will not be posted on a daily basis, but rather when homework is assigned or when time permits.

In introducing myself a little bit, this is my 9th year as an English teacher at Algonquin, having taught nearly every English course from Grade 9 all the way to Grade 12. I`m also involved in the school as the Head Coach of the Junior Boys Football team, as well as the Head Coach of the Track and Field (Athlétisme) team in the spring.
I am available for extra help or questions for the students if they so desire. The only requirement is that the student makes arrangements with me at least one day in advance when possible.
I`m looking forward to a great semester.
